
Organizational Profile
Southwest Mississippi Opportunity Community Action Agency, known as SWMOCAA, is a private non-profit organization established in May 1965. SWMOCAA provides comprehensive human service programs in Amite, Pike, Walthall, and Wilkinson counties. SWMOCAA's administrative office is located at 4116 Highway 51 in McComb, Mississippi.
SWMOCAA provides comprehensive services to the entire family through the case management approach. Our programs are designed to foster family stability and self-sufficiency among the clients that we serve.

SWMOCAA is governed by a twelve-member Board of Directors with diverse backgrounds including elected public officials, business people, bankers, attorneys, and client representatives of low-income families in the area served. The Board of Directors establishes the agency's policies, monitors its programs and employs an Executive Director who is responsible for the day-to-day operations.
